[ESC] Three top placements in the 2007 ESC Fan Awards

ESC fans all over the world voted Eiríkur in for top placements in three of the ESC Today's 2007 Award categories.
BEST MALE VOCAL PERFORMANCE:
1. Roger Cicero of Germany for "Frauen regier'n die Welt" 2. Eiríkur Hauksson of Iceland for "Valentine lost"
3. Bonaparti.lv of Latvia for "Questa notte"
4. Hayko of Armenia for "Anytime you need"
5. Frederik Ndoci of Albania for "Hear my plea"
With 35.4%, Roger Cicero was the more than clear winner in this category for the rendition of his swing song. Rocker Eiríkur Hauksson is the runner-up with 25.1% while the only group that was nominated, Bonaparti.lv from Latvia finished third with 17.9% of the votes. Hayko from Armenia follows in fourthh position (14.9%), way ahead of Frederik Ndoci of Albania who only scored 6.7%.

2. Roger Cicero of Germany for "Frauen regier'n die Welt"
3. Kenan Doğulu of Turkey for "Shake it up shekerim" 4. Eiríkur Hauksson of Iceland for "Valentine lost"
5. Hayko of Armenia for "Anytime you need"
Koldun from Belarus was the clear winner in this category and got 32.8% of the votes for his magical performance. Roger Cicero's classic rendition of Frauen regier'n die Welt without many show effects came second with 27.4% ahead of Kenan Doğulu from Turkey in third (16.0%). Eiríkur Hauksson is very close behind with 15.2% of the votes for his rock performance. Hayko's fairy-tale performance of Anytime you need was by far less popular and only scored 8.7%.
BEST ACT NOT TO QUALIFY FROM THE SEMI FINAL:
1. Evridiki of Cyprus with "Comme ci, comme ça"
2. Edsilia Rombley of the Netherlands with "On top of the world"
3. Anonymous of Andorra with "Salvem el món"
4. Sabrina of Portugal with "Dança comigo (Vem ser feliz)" 5. Eiríkur Hauksson of Iceland with "Valentine lost"
Three former Eurovision Song Contest participants were nominated in this category and two of them reached the top places with only a small margin in between: Evridiki won the award with 23.7% with Edsilia Rombley very close behind getting 23.0%. With a more obvious gap, the Andorran representatives, Anonymous, follow with 20.5%. Sabrina from Portugal (who was eleventh in the semi final and the singer who was the closest to being in the final) reached fourth position (16.7%) with Eirikúr Hauksson being close behind (16.0%).
