Okay my friends near and far...here we go again!  As for the moment I am lingering to the classic X-mas songs going,-"by he fireplace" - "glittering snowflakes" and all that stuff. Why? Because that´s real life just now. In good old Gressvik it has been freezing cold ( -20 yesterday ) but Post card-beautiful if you know what I mean. And the fireplace is burning, both upstairs and downstairs. As you know by now - I just love Christmas. It has always been like this. I remember so many details from my X-mas childhood. Words we said, songs we sang, the food we ate and of course the presents. Sad really to think about the millions of people that do not share this feeling or much more sadly the many who have bad memories/experience connected to this special holiday. Too bad, but I won´t let it get me down for long.

Went upstairs  for a cup of coffee and a zig on the porch and boy is it even more beautiful now. Down to minus 13 and the sun is shining. Just perfect conditions for the fireworks at midnight. As ususal we have some friends gathered here this evening, (sine I have the best view in town ) and we will be enjoying a Turkey and some good drinks before the Big Finals at midnight. After that we party for as long the eyelids are open. Being perhaps the busiest Taxi-night of the year we simply make up every bed in the house and those who want can stay the night and enjoy a mutual breakfast tomorrow. I really hope that each and everyone of you will have a reall ball tonight. My thoughts will be with you all. Shall we say a big salute to ourselves at 00:00? I think so.

It amazes me how many of you have stood by my side since this page startet for almost 3 years ago. And a big hug to you Ranja for making this possible. I wish you well and I know you are not having the best of times, just lying in bed depending on help from others. But I do believe you´ll be well soon!

To me it feels like the year has passed without me doing anything that really matters. Well of course every gig counts, but still when I look back it seems like everything I had planned is delayed or maybe just vanished into the air. And that makes me feel like I have in some way cheated my fans , cause let´s face it - there were some heavy plans spoken out loud. Okay,- richer from that experience I am going to hold a low profile when it comes to shout out all my expectations for 20210. The next Hensley album is due in April with me doing two songs there. The Magic Pie album is also due in April ( if God allows ). There have been so many delays and we haven´t even finished recording yet. We have to be finished at the end of January so all my spare time will go to that project. There are other major plans around, but as I said "once bitten - twice shy"  I will keep my mouth more shut now than ever and simply let the music do the talking. 

Obs!!!  Did I sound pessimistic? That was not my intention and there is no need for that either. A lot of good things - exciting things will happen next year and I am looking forward to the future. Not only as a musician but even more as a person. I am so aware of that I am a lucky guy, being given the chance to live my life as I do. And I promise you - I am very greatful as well.  I think we should all try to make 2010 the best year of our lives. Even if some of you may be facing some minor/major crisis , be it financial ore healthwise, again I think you should. There is in most cases a light at the end of every tunnel. I can easily say that the best years of my life so far are 2001-2002. Why? Well first I got seriously ill and things looked really bad. But I got over it and I am still alive and well. So if you have problems be as positiv as you can and things will be better, I am sure...
